I am back!!!!

i know i had not been updating cos my comp is spoilt and i need time to set up the new lappi... but e new lappie still gives me probs too.

a lot of things have happened in these 3 months. exams came and passed. i am now officially not a student!!! have been finding jobs without success and i may just go and study.have been thinking a lot and i may just set up an online shop. still thinking about it though.

wednesday i went over to my uncle house and my cute nephew is there too!!! omg cute kai kai!

kai kai is only 19 months old!!! and my back aches from holding his little hands or rather is he holding my hands. and i duno how to carry him though. he is super cute la! but my cousin says bring him back home 1 night and you will know what a little terror he is. haha!

Today I went out with mum and Ah Yi-s cos tehy wanted to buy jewellery for the proud relative. Amazing I went out within 15min of preparing myself which includes bathing. After buying, Xiao Jiu called Er Yi asking where we were cos he wanted to bring us out for dinner.

And only in Toa Payoh for like 45min off we went to Balestier road to eat at Boon Tong Kee. and we had lobster... although the lobster is a little over cooked, but YUMMY! I ate until my jeans is going to burst any moment.

And being the blur me, when i open the car door, I did not notice there is a dustbin at the kerbside (whoever will put a dustbin at e kerbside???). I just open e door real big since Da Yi needs to get out too (her size also quite big lo), I nearly knock the dustbin til it fall. I gasped loudly not at the dustbin falling but is the car door kena scratched. OMG Mercs lei if kena scratched, is my head roll lo. Lucky me. Car is not scratched and the dustbin did not fall. Phew...

And I heard some gossip on the car... =p

Who dares to wear a $9000 plus watch(with diamonds) to work, shopping etc and refuse a good gesture of real hard cold cash of S$10,000? My pockets are quite big and I have a lot of pockets. I dun mind putting all these cash IN my pockets.

Just watch a TV programme and I really feel like eating Apom Berkuah!!! I have eaten it before and it is super nice! It is banana in some gula melaka sauce with rice cake.Super nice!

Lost in Singapore

Lost in Singapore!

Me, mum, sis and brother-in-law went to ikea for lunch then suppose to go over to orchard for some shopping and then visit er jiu. but but but we got lost thanks to brother-in-law.

from ikea to orchard should only take up at most half an hour. we took 1h to reach there! fainted. and i am like touring Singapore. From zion road went to tanjong pagar, went to esplanade, went to bugis, went to serangoon, went to little india, went to lavendar. then finally to orchard.

in the car we are calling up a frenzied call storm and flipping the map like crazy. We called bao xin, black brother, my san jiu, si jiu, xiao jiu and my cousin. so many people we called still got lost. fainted.

seriously, thundergod knows how to drive but has no clues on directions. fainted.
and i told him to follow bus 174 as it does go to orchard too. follow bus confirm will not get lost right? at most go a bigger round only. but when the bus turn left, he go straight. fainted. that still never mind. we came to selegie road, ask him to turn to Dhoby Gaut then we reach PS, then just go straight we reach le. but he turn sala again.

Fainted! and thanks to those who gave directions!

Last Sat was sis wedding... It is such a tiring day lo! I slept in between dishes during dinner can! Tada! pictures say it all. not much though as I was busy. when the photographer send to us then i shall update more!

I passed my final theory yesterday! happy!

but I got horned twice during prac today morning. idiot. engine stall what you want me to do?

And I seriously have no idea to turn. it is like depend on luck. some times my turns are nice some times not. argh!

and i realised i dropped $20. suay.

whole family is busy. i realised when 1 person shifted house you still can find that person fairly easily as the world world will know who you wanted to find... this is what happened to my family. finally after 1 week we found the legendary auntie. and turns out like she just moved to the opposite street of my house only. dots...

and last sun, my house is filled with people. yes people. too many people came until i dunno who is who. all came to give wedding presents to my sis. and there are diamonds, gold, silver and hongbaos. my sis all passed to me ask me to keep for her in the room. i jokingly tell her i shall run away now and all will be mine! whahahaha

and on actual wedding day i am the guard for the hongbao box. johnny will be with me too. i shall make him faint by using my high heels to knock him out and run away with the hong bao box! all money will be mine! lol crazy thoughts.

thurs went to the bridal shop for fitting. my sis did not get fatter or thinner and all gowns fitted her. but for mr thundergod, haha he got fatter and the suit got tighter! haha. my dad tried his suit also and omg so funny when he tried on all! was laughing my head off!

and finally i cut my hair! =) but my head look like a mushroom... but e hair stylist say it is the most fashionable from Korea... i have no idea...

any ideas where you can take nice wedding pictures? i am thinking hort park. esplanade that area is out cos of F1. it will be cool if they can take pics with the cars! but sure cannot.

1st practical lesson

had my 1st driving practical lesson yesterday.

thank god. i did not kill anyone including myself. but i might injure ah lay back from braking too hard. =p
but seriously i did not use any strength at all when braking but it still brake too hard. hmmm... i shall use johnny car for testing since thundergod say he can teach me. but have to wait til end of this month cos everyone is so busy! if johhny knows i am using his car to test brake, i am sure he is going mad. the brake lining might fade!

oh ya. i did not bang any car at all! especially a mercedes park there! thank god!
and no horning at me! except when 2 bangalas dash out of e road then they get horned by. i guess e other cars see me driving they are too busy avoiding me!

and also while learning to turn, a uncle riding bicycle was beside me. and guess what, he rode faster than me! =( but i am only at gear 1! how fast i can be!

and my legs are weak i know. mardiah stop laughing! i sense e evilness in you!

SW left already!!! did not get to send her off cos dajie wedding got a lot of things to do and buy and it is 2 weeks more to actual day! invitation cards not yet written and given out, papa has not shopped for his clothes, mummy has not buy her shoes and me and papa have not make specs (contacts n specs for me) and mummy and me have not cut hair yet!!!

SW send me 2 SMS today and make me feel so envy lo! SW! what is up with the cute and handsome guys and the castles over there hur!!! bring me back a handsome German guy!!! but please make sure he earns a big amount of euros!!!

i need to cut my hair. far too long and starts to tangle easily le.

I overheard this song in my sis hp. Found it very touching and really brought back a lot memories of my Grandma. The lyrics are very well written. Even though her love story is not as sweet as in the song and I think my grandfather is not that way.

Grandma is a victim of domestic abuse and at her time it is common for men to take more than 1 wife. She single-handedly brought up my papa and uncles. How to she find the will to do so at that time? She even went through World War 2 where she lost a daughter as she cannot afford to raise her up. She told me she gave her away to a Muslim family. I bet her heart almost break when she did that. Old people really have a strong will to survive.

I don't really know about my grandfather as he does not live with us the only times I see him is during Chinese New Year and he has Alzheimer's disease. He cannot even recognise us at all. But he is gone so just let everything pass.

I remember hearing this song when Grandma was sent to the hospital for the very first day. Cried when hearing this song as really cannot control my emotions and had a bad feeling at that time. Told my sis and she feels that way too. True enough my bad feeling is always spot-on and 9 days later she is gone.

Why do people know how to treasure only after they lost it?

Ah ma I miss you and sorry for all my naughty actions. =(
